A video posted by Twitter user @RealDanct12 showed that UEFI Shell can run on the Redmi Note 7.
The user successfully completed the boot work on Redmi Note 7, which laid the foundation for the future installation of a desktop system on the device.
The UEFI Shell can provide an interface between the user and the UEFI system, and the Shell can also provide various internal commands including driver, network, and installation.

The UEFI firmware for Xiaomi 6 and Xiaomi 8 has appeared on GitHub, and its authors have stated that they are trying to create the smallest EDK2 for Xiaomi 8, and the project is based on Zhuowei's Pixel 3 XL EDK2 porting project.
