Lenovo has announced several new products to join its Legion gaming laptop family.ย In terms of high-end, the new Legion 7 uses GeForce RTX 2080 Super Max-Q graphics chip and Intel's new 10th generation i9 H series processor. The machine adheres to the 1080p display and provides a paid option to upgrade from the default refresh rate of 144Hz to 240Hz.
Legion 7 uses Lenovo's TrueStrike keyboard, each key provides 1.3mm key travel, and provides space for the large arrow keys and full Numpad.ย The touchpad uses the Windows Precision driver, so it should be relatively reliable and responsive.
The appearance of this machine is very clean, and there are very few frames around the display. The camera is set on the top frame and a privacy shutter is built in. Lenovo claims that the heat sink of the machine has been improved, so you are on your lap or on the keyboardย You should not feel too hot when typing.
The I/O port is on the back, so all plugs and cables will be out of sight when the user uses it.ย Under normal non-gaming usage, Lenovo said that the battery life of this notebook can reach 8 hours.
Lenovo's new Legion 5 laptop is available in 15-inch and 17-inch versions. It supports up to Nvidia RTX 2060 GPU and is equipped with Intel's 10th generation H-series CPU (Legion 5i) or AMD Ryzen 4000 H-series CPU (Legion 5).
Like Legion 7, this machine also adopts an elegant and simple design, with a camera on the top border and a privacy shutter.ย When purchasing, you can customize the refresh rate of your favorite IPS display according to your preferences, from 60Hz to 240Hz.
The new entry-level gaming notebook in the company's lineup is IdeaPad Gaming 3, which is a 15.6-inch notebook.
Like other notebooks, this notebook also supports Intel's 10th generation H series processors, but its highest configuration is GeForce GTX 1650 Ti, so it is obvious that this notebook is not suitable for hard core games.
It also has a fully backlit keyboard with Numpad and large arrow keys.ย You can also get a touchpad powered by Windows Precision.ย The machine can be configured with a 60Hz or 120Hz refresh rate display.
Lenovo has not shared the pricing of these models, but its goal is to release these devices in May this year.
