After more than three months, WeChat for Windows computer version ushered in a major upgrade, the latest version number 2.9.0.
The new version adds an independent mini program panel. The switch is above the menu button in the lower-left corner of the interface and the button for browsing content on the mobile phone. Click to display the recently used mini programs.
The interface layout is exactly the same as on the mobile phone, and the usage and experience of theย mini programs on the computer is almost no different from that on the mobile phone.
Note, however, that this feature only supports Windows 7 and newer systems.
The new version allows users to quote more types of messages in the chat, and pictures, emoticons and other messages can be directly quoted. Users can directly drag and drop messages to forward to other chat sessions or save to local computers.
In terms of function settings, users can set to automatically convert voice messages in chat to text (default off), and can set whether the received files are automatically downloaded (default on).
WeChat for Windows 2.9.0 version has not released the download link, but users of the old version can already check the update and upgrade directly.
