The Chrome plug-in Sync Sofa allows you and your loved one from different places to watch the movie together.
Sync Sofa is essentially a web video synchronization tool. After installation, two people play the same video, create a synchronization code and share it with each other, they can join the same video playback.
This process is somewhat similar to the current remote video conference. The initiator creates a room and invites the other party to come in.
In addition to watching videos simultaneously, the Sync Sofa can also be synchronized with playback, pause, and dragging of the progress bar. It is indeed suitable for couples to watch movies together.
Currently, the platforms supported by Sync Sofa are YouTube, Bilibili, Duonao.Online, and 91mjw. In the future, it will support more video platforms and plans to support audio platforms.
