MSI has launched the Creator 17 notebook, the first to use a Mini LED display on a laptop, according to AnandTech.

MSI has launched the Creator 17 notebook, the first to use a Mini LED display on a laptop, according to AnandTech.

The MSI Creator 17 features an optional 144Hz 1920x1080 IPS panel, and the top model can be upgraded to a 3840x2160 resolution Mini LED display that offers a P3 color gamut and HDR1000.

This Mini LED display offers 240 areas of local dimming for 1,000nit brightness and a contrast ratio of 100,000:1.

MSI Creator 17 optional i7-10875H, 8-core 16-threaded; graphics up to RTX 2080 Super Max-Q optional.

MSI said the Creator 17 will be available on April 15, starting at $1,799.
