The national college entrance exam, better known as "Gaokao" in China, will be postponed for one month in 2020, and it will take place on July 7-8, according to CCTV.
Specific subject examination schedules are: July 7, Chinese 9:00 to 11:30; Mathematics 15:00 to 17:00. On July 8th, liberal arts/science integrated 9:00 to 11:30; foreign language 15: 00 to 17:00.
Hubei Province and Beijing can study and put forward opinions on the timetable for the college entrance examination in the region according to the situation of epidemic prevention and control, and the Ministry of Commerce and Education will release it to the society in a timely manner.
The "Gaokao" is considered the most important event for Chinese students. The exam usually takes place in early June.
