China Mobile's capital expenditure budget for 2020 is 179.8 billion yuan, of which 5G-related investment plans are about 100 billion yuan.
China Telecom's 5G capital expenditure in 2020 is about 45.3 billion yuan, and China Unicom's 5G capital expenditure budget in 2020 is about 35 billion yuan.
Recently, the three major operators announced operating data for February, and China Mobile and China Telecom officially announced the number of 5G package users for the first time.
As of the end of February 2020, China Mobile's 5G subscribers were 15.399 million, a net increase of 8.663 million that month, China Telecom's 5G subscribers were 5.17 million, a monthly increase of 4.74 million, and the two totaled 20.569 million. China Unicom did not disclose the number of 5G users.
