Today, the Chinese E-book app developer iReader announced the price of its recently released color e-ink device, the iReader C6, is selling for 1,499 yuan ($211) and is now available for purchase.
iReader C6 uses a new color filter technology that can display 4096 colors, and the RGB color rendering engine can optimize the color screen rendering.
The iReader C6 also uses a newly upgraded eye protection soft light, with 28 levels of adjustment. The iReader C6 has a screen size of 6 inches and a resolution of 1448 × 1072.
The iReader C6 uses a quad-core CPU with a 50% increase in performance. With 1GB of memory and 16GB of storage, it can store 6000 books.
The UV material used in the fuselage is non-stick and scratch-proof. The iReader C6 is equipped with an AI intelligent sound engine that can output highly anthropomorphic speech.
iReader C6 also has a built-in 2000mAh battery, supports WiFi transmission, built-in 18 fonts, 108 font size options, and a charging interface for USB-C.
iReader C6 will start to be shipped on April 30.
