New Xiaomi Wallet feature allows non-NFC phones to use Mi Pay

Xiaomi Wallet has launched new functions, and non-NFC phones also support Mi Pay.

This feature now supports three models: Redmi Note 7, Redmi Note 5, and Redmi 6, which can be used after upgrading to the latest development version.

Users only need to open the Xiaomi Wallet APP in the MIUI system, click "Mi Pay" to add a bank card, and complete the information authentication to add it successfully.

When the user double-clicks the power button to verify the fingerprint to wake up Mi Pay, the user can present the QR code to complete the payment.

In fact, this is one of the new features previously released by Xiaomi Wallet. Another feature is smart card selection, which can support smart selection to switch between bus cards and door cards.
