Baidu employees said on the social platform posts today that Baidu held an internal communication meeting and Baidu chairman Robin Li said that all employees will get salary rise this year.
The posts mentioned Baidu has more than last year's general salary increase budget, and the year-end bonus is added for another half a month.
Several Baidu employees confirmed that the news was true, according to nbd.com.cn.
Baidu insiders said that all employees' salary increases are reflected in the salary every year at the end of April. Each person's salary increase is different and related to past performance.
According to Baidu's financial report, as of December 31, 2019, Baidu had a total of 135.9 billion yuan in cash, cash equivalents, restricted funds and short-term investments, and 10.1 billion yuan in free cash flow.
According to Wind data, as of the end of 2019, Baidu had 37,79 employees and an average income of more than 2.84 million yuan.
