French company Isorg demonstrated a full-screen fingerprint recognition technology that supports multi-finger, and allows four fingers to touch simultaneously.
In other words, the user can enter the fingerprint information of four fingers, and then need to push the four fingers to the screen when unlocking.
Only four fingerprints can match to unlock the phone, which is obviously more secure than a fingerprint.
Because in the past, single-finger fingerprint recognition was cracked, Isorg launched a multi-finger full-screen FoD sensor module. It hopes to reach mass production this year to increase the security of users' mobile phones.
As for why there are at most 4 fingers instead of 5 fingers? Isorg founder Jean-Yves Gomez said in an interview that the identification of five fingers can actually be done.
However, the recognition of the four fingers at hand is more friendly to the user, and it is easier for users to recognize at the same time with four fingers other than the thumb.
If you want to add the thumb, the position of the entire hand must be adjusted, so it is not convenient.
