Huawei Kunpeng processor gets a major backer in China-CnTechPost

Chinese IT products distributer Digital China's first Huawei Kunpeng series product production base recently started construction in Xiamen, Fujian. The first phase of the project is expected to be completed in mid-April and officially launched in May, The Paper reported on March 13.

The first phase of the production base covers an area of 10,000 square meters, and the overall planned area is 30,000 square meters. It will mainly produce Digital China's own brand Shenzhou Huatai server and PC products equipped with Kunpeng chips.

In recent years, Digital China has been actively cooperating with Huawei's strategy, and has carried out overall layout and cooperation with Huawei in business fields such as cloud computing. It has also taken the lead in joining the Kunpeng industry ecosystem and became a heavyweight partner.

Han Zhimin, Vice President of Digital China Group and President of Enterprise Business Group, said that Digital China, as Huawei's all-round and deep-bound strategic partner, will start a deep cooperation with Huawei based on the Kunpeng industrial ecology.

At the same time, Digital China will also build an open Kunpeng computing industry ecology based on the largest B2B ecosystem in China's IT field.

On January 7th, Digital China announced the establishment of an enterprise business group, taking Kunpeng's industrial ecological products as the lead, systematically integrating its enterprise-level business and private label-related businesses, and creating a core carrier of Digital China's private label strategy.

On March 9th, Digital China set up China Xinchuang (Beijing) Group. The new company's business includes integrated circuit design and robot sales. It is reported that the newly established company mainly cooperates with Kunpeng business.

Guo Wei, Chairman and President of Digital China Group, said: "In the future, we will concentrate all resources of the company to support the high-quality development of private label business, and strive to become an industry leader under the new global IT landscape and help China take off."

Digital China said that in the future, the production base will serve as an important starting point and carrier for the Xiamen City Government and Digital China to deepen its strategic cooperation and continue to promote the ecological development of the Kunpeng industry with independent innovative products and technical services.
