Pete Lau, founder and CEO of OnePlus said on Weibo yesterday that OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro will all support 5G networks.
Lau said on Weibo: "In fact, last year, the OnePlus 7 Pro overseas version was the world's first commercial 5G mobile phone. There is no doubt that the next generation of new products this year will be standard with 5G.
According to previous information, OnePlus 8 will use a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with built-in fingerprint sensor. This phone has three versions: 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB, all of which are UFS 3.0 storage.
The device is equipped with three rear cameras, including a 48MP main sensor, and the other two are 16MP and 2MP. The machine has a built-in 4000mAh battery and supports Warp Charge 30T charging technology.
As for the OnePlus 8 Pro, it has a slightly larger 6.65-inch AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz and is equipped with a Snapdragon 865 SoC and Adreno 650 GPU. It will have four cameras and an additional ToF sensor. The 4500mAh battery supports 10V 5A ultra-fast charging.
In addition, there is a OnePlus 8 Lite. This machine will use a middle punch screen, which may be a 6.4-inch AMOLED display, use a 90Hz refresh rate, and be equipped with a MediaTek processor, which may be a Teana 1000.
The device has a 48MP main sensor, the other two are 16MP and 12MP cameras, built-in 4000mAh battery, and there are two versions: 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB.
OnePlus 8 series new phones may be released in April.
