A Huawei employee recently said in the online forum that each person working at the Wuhan Institute's on-site office can get subsidies of 2,000 yuan per day (counting from 1.23 and ending on the date when the Hubei epidemic situation ends), and 1,000 yuan for those in other regions outside Hubei.
According to Huxiu.com, Huawei insiders confirmed the information.
In addition, the other party also added details: Huawei went to the Hubei New Coronary Pneumonia Medical Treatment Designated Hospital and sent out hotspots and other dangerous areas to provide emergency communications engineering support for combat personnel, each person 2,000 yuan per day.
1000 yuan per person per day for fighters participating in business continuity-related projects at the Hubei site and for emergency communication engineering support on site in hazardous isolation areas issued by the government.
For provinces and cities other than Hubei Province, during the epidemic period, the personnel who entered the state-issued New Coronary Pneumonia designated treatment hospital for emergency communication engineering support were 1,000 yuan per person per day; for overseas epidemic-affected countries participating in special business protection, each person was 150 USD per day.
The person also said that at present, the other employees of Huawei's Wuhan branch are remote offices, and only the above employees need to work on-site because they need to protect key business (such as communication engineering).
On February 3, a spokesperson for Huawei said that production of products including consumer products and operator equipment had been resumed, and the business was operating normally. Most of the resumed production operations were in Dongguan, Guangdong.
