When Microsoft announced the Surface Duo last October, those who wanted to see Microsoft launch a new phone were naturally rejoicing.
However, there is another problem. Like Surface Neo, a dual-screen smartphone that relies on Windows 10x, Duo also requires consumers to wait until the holiday season to buy it.
According to a recent report from Zac Bowden of Windows Central, the Surface Dduo may actually be released much earlier-as early as this summer.
Microsoft may announce the arrival of new products at a hardware conference in the spring, and it may also release Surface Book 3 and Surface Go 2.
However, this change will not affect the Surface Neo, it will still need to wait until the holiday season this year. The reason is not surprising. Although a lot of Duo software has been completed-the system runs on Android and only requires a custom startup program from Microsoft, but for Surface Neo, Microsoft needs to build a system.
According to Zac, the base model of Surface Duo will be equipped with Snapdragon 855 processor, equipped with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage space.
Given that this phone will not support 5G and uses a chipset from last year, to be honest, this phone has lagged behind other flagship smartphones currently on the market.
