Honor View30/V30 and Honor 9X Pro overseas versions will be launched at the online live conference on February 24. The mobile phone series runs EMUI10 (Android 10) and Huawei Mobile Services (HMS).
Honor President George Zhao recently said in an interview with Chinese media that in the future, Huawei HMS will become the most popular ecosystem for users in the global market.
According to Zhao, compared with the development time invested by other smartphone manufacturers, popularization will take a year or less.
Zhao also said that compared to Google Mobile Services (GMS), HMS global development will take some effort, and Huawei and Honor will work together to complete this task.
After Huawei was added to the physical list in the United States, Huawei smartphones could not obtain a new GMS license, so Huawei first launched the Huawei Mate 30 series phones equipped with HMS.
Recently, Huawei also launched the Huawei Nova 7i phone equipped with EMUI 10.
Huawei Mobile Services (HMS) integrates Huawei's chips, devices, and cloud functions, including a complete HMS core service portfolio and related IDE tool platforms for development and testing, as well as key applications for Huawei devices.
The absence of GMS means that new phones from Huawei and Honor will be equipped with applications such as AppGallery, Huawei Assistant and Huawei Browser, Huawei Cloud, Huawei Wallet and Huawei Video, Huawei Music and Huawei Reader.
