According to the plan, Huawei will host the launch of the P40/P40 Pro flagship smartphone in Paris next month. However, the legendary new machine has been exposed by the Telecommunications Equipment Certification Center (TENAA) of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
The database shows devices of model ANA-AN00/ANA-TN00, which may correspond to the unreleased P40. Another 5G device with model ELS-AN00/ELS-TN00 may correspond to P40 Pro.
In addition, although the reported models are different, this batch of equipment also appears in the Russian EEC certification database. The ANA-NX9 should refer to the P40, while the ELS-NX9 is the P40 Pro model.
Interestingly, the entry-level P40 Lite E model (ART-L29) also appeared in the Geekbench benchmark database.
It is equipped with a HiSilicon chipset of 1.71 GHz and 4GB of RAM, and runs Android 10 mobile operating system, with single/dual core scores of 1400/5307 respectively.
The flagship P40 and P40 Pro are expected to be equipped with a Kirin 990 chipset that supports 5G connectivity. Among them, the P40 is expected to use a combination of front dual cameras + rear three cameras.
As for the P40 Pro, the aircraft may use a curved display with an elongated opening in the upper right corner. It is rumored that it has a rear five-camera + dual color temperature flash module, and the Leica brand blessing.
The P40 Pro may use a main camera with 52MP @ f/1.3 aperture + 40MP Cine sensor + 8MP @ 10x optical zoom periscope lens + 3D ToF time-of-flight sensor.
In terms of color matching, Huawei P40 series is expected to provide options such as green, black, red, silver, deep blue, and ice white.
