Lotus has announced that the prototype of its new all-electric supercar, Evija, is off the assembly line at its factory in Hessel, Norfolk, UK.

Lotus said that 130 production versions of Evija will be delivered to customers worldwide this summer. At present, the first year of production of the car has been booked out.

Lotus Evija is the first heavyweight new product in the process of the revival of the Lotus brand after the acquisition of Geely Holding Group.

Lotus hopes to use this new car to revive the brand's height and set a new benchmark for sports driving technology.

As the first pure electric top-level supercar under Lotus, Evija power is equipped with 4 motors, with a combined maximum power of 2000 horsepower.

Its peak torque is 1700 Nยทm, 0-100km/h acceleration will be less than 3 seconds, 0-300km/h acceleration will be less than 9 seconds, and the top speed can reach 320km/h.

Thanks to a large number of carbon fiber applications, the new car's curb weight is only 1,680 kg.

It is equipped with a 70kWh battery pack, with a cruising range of 400km under WLTP, and a 129km range in track mode (full output of 2000 horsepower in this mode).

The Lotus Evija is limited to only 130 units, and matches 5 in China. The official price is 21.88 million.
