Huawei today released the HiCampus campus solution to the world, realizing full wireless access, all-optical networks and all intelligent services in the park.
The HiCampus campus solution includes 5G-supported AirEngine Wi-Fi 6 to achieve full wireless access to the campus, Campus OptiX to realize all-opticalization of the campus network, and AI and fertile digital platforms to achieve comprehensive intelligence in the operations and maintenance of the park.
In terms of full wireless access, Huawei released 10 new Wi-Fi 6 AP products in three series: AirEngine 8700, AirEngine 6700 and AirEngine 5700, covering various indoor and outdoor application scenarios.
The flagship product, AirEngine 8760, relies on 5G technology 16T16R and 160MHz large bandwidth to achieve an air interface rate of up to 10.75Gbps, which is twice that of the industry.
According to Huawei, relying on 5G technology Smart Antenna, Huawei AirEngine Wi-Fi 6 achieves a coverage radius that is 20% larger than the industry Wi-Fi 6 and increases signal strength at the same location by 100%.
In terms of all-optical networks, Huawei's Campus OptiX campus network solution combines all-optical networking architecture with IP network advantages such as large-capacity IP switches and optical ports AirEngine Wi-Fi 6 to provide enterprises with ultra-wide carrying capacity.
This solution uses an all-optical networking architecture, reduces the convergence layer, significantly reduces the space of the motor room, and reduces network energy consumption by 30% compared to traditional parks.
At present, Huawei's smart park solutions include two types. One is a general-purpose scenario solution that focuses on park management, operations, and office.
This includes intelligent operation centers, integrated security, convenient access, asset management, facility management, energy efficiency management, environmental space, and efficient office.
The other is the industry scenario solution. It integrates industry attributes in the common scenario solution to create real estate parks, government parks, smart campuses and chemical parks, helping park customers better realize digital transformation.
According to the IDC report, the market space of China's smart parks will exceed RMB 200 billion in 2019. In the next four years, the compound annual growth rate will exceed 12.7%. By 2022, the Chinese market space will be nearly 300 billion yuan, and the overseas market space will be 7 times that of China.
