China Mobile says its 5G subscribers reach 6.7 million-CnTechPost

China Mobile has just released January 2020 operating data. In that month, China Mobile's mobile subscribers decreased by 862,000, reaching a total of 949.415 million.

It is worth mentioning that China Mobile announced the first 5G operation data: as of the end of January, the number of 5G package customers was 6.736 million.

China Mobile claims that 5G package customers are individual mobile phone customers who subscribe to 5G tariff packages, excluding customers who have not subscribed to 5G packages and only share 5G package resources.

In that month, China Mobile's 4G subscribers decreased by 170,000, reaching a total of 758.784 million; wired broadband subscribers increased by 1.23 million, reaching a total of 188,271,100.
