Huawei has decided to hold its "5G Full Scenario" press event from 21: 00-23: 00 Beijing time on February 24 after the cancellation of the MWC 2020.
The event will be in English with Chinese subtitles.
Although MWC2020, which was originally scheduled to be held in Barcelona at the end of February, has been canceled, Huawei's "5G Full Scenario" series of press conferences will still be held separately, according to the Shanghai Securities News on Sunday.
The report said that sources close to Huawei did not disclose specific new product models, but confirmed that 5G full-scene new products such as mobile phones, PCs, tablets, and IOTs would be released.
According to the original plan, 2020MWC will be held in Barcelona, Spain starting from February 24. However, due to the new crown virus pneumonia epidemic, GSMA finally decided to cancel the event, marking the first time MWC has been suspended since 1995.
Regarding GSMA's decision to cancel MWC 2020, Huawei said on February 13 that it respected the decision and also thanked the organizers and the Spanish government for their efforts for this event.
