Vivo cancels planned activities at MWC 2020-CnTechPost

Vivo confirmed on Tuesday its planned exhibition and release activities at the MWC 2020 were cancelled due to the ongoing new coronavirus epidemic.

The APEX 2020 concept phone originally planned to be displayed during the MWC will still be unveiled in the near future, the company noted.

Vivo previously issued an invitation letter for the MWC 2020 conference, saying that it will showcase the third generation APEX concept phone from February 23 to 24.

The following is a translated version of the Vivo statement:

Vivo has been closely monitoring the development of the new coronavirus pneumonia epidemic and dynamically assessing its activities for its impact.

In view of the scope and extent of the epidemic at this stage, in order to maintain employee health and public safety, Vivo has decided to cancel MWC 2020-related display and release activities.

The APEX 2020 concept device that was originally planned to be displayed during the MWC will still meet you in the near future, and we will also update the information as soon as possible.

Thank you for your understanding of Vivo's partners, media and consumers. We apologize for any inconvenience this change may cause.
