Affected by the new coronavirus pneumonia epidemic, some companies announced their withdrawal from MWC 2020 or were planning not hold a press conference. Not only MWC, but also a large-scale home appliances and consumer electronics show in China have been affected.

The Organizing Committee of the China Appliance and Consumer Electronics Expo 2020 (AWE2020) said in a recent statement that the AWE2020, which was originally scheduled to be held in Shanghai from March 11 to 14, 2020, will be postponed till further notice.

The Committee said that at this critical moment, the primary task is to maximize the health and safety of exhibitors, visitors and partners to ensure the effectiveness of exhibitors at home and abroad.

"We are paying close attention to the current situation of the epidemic situation and maintaining close contact with various government departments. Once there is further news, we will arrange the new exhibition period as soon as possible, properly inform and assist you to adjust the exhibition plan, and do our best to follow-up services," it said.
