Alibaba warns merchants not to do evil during coronavirus outbreak-CnTechPost

Alibaba continues to crack down on the manufacture and sale of counterfeit and inferior epidemic prevention products, and has "zero tolerance" for problematic masks and illegal sellers, the company said in an announcement on Wednesday.

Alibaba said that many merchants gave up the Spring Festival holiday break and spared all their efforts to stock up. They were making every effort in fighting against the coronavirus epidemic and it was moving.

The Alibaba platform will use more stringent measures to cooperate with all parties in the society to crack down on the production and sale of counterfeit and inferior types of illegal acts.

The announcement said that the platform will be severely punished for goods and stores suspected of counterfeiting, shoddy prices, false publicity and other violations.

At the same time, Alibaba will publicize the list of penalties for violations. The platform swear that the perpetrators of the epidemic will be ruined and never tolerated.

Alibaba stated that not only should the perpetrators no longer have room in Alibaba, but also hope that all e-commerce platforms will join forces to reject problem merchants.

Alibaba appeals to all parties to exercise strict control so that fake makers can't hide anywhere and pay the heaviest price.

As of February 4, Alibaba has permanently cleared 15 stores suspected of selling problematic masks, of which 5 have been transferred to law enforcement agencies.

Alibaba recently combined technical algorithm models with manual inspection methods to implement a pre-audit mechanism for the release of mask products on the platform.

Not only is it possible to technically sever the possibility of the banned store "changing the vest" to continue to open the store, but also through manual checks and checks, to ensure that the merchants with the source and the fast delivery can give priority to delivery.
