Huawei is the Chinese company with the highest software business revenue in 2019, with Haier and Alibaba Cloud ranking second and third, and Xiaomi ranking seventh, a report released Sunday by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China showed.
The report counts the top 100 companies with software business revenue, whose software business revenue for the year was 821.2 billion yuan, an increase of 6.5% over the previous session and accounting for 13.3% of the industry's revenue.
Compared with 5 years ago, the top 100 company's main business income profit margin increased by 2.6 percentage points, and the proportion of research and development increased by 3.1 percentage points.
They invested a total of 174.6 billion yuan in research and development, an increase of 12.6%, accounting for 27.9% of the industry's research and development investment, far exceeding the proportion of revenue and profits in the industry.
Huawei, Haier Group and Alibaba Cloud ranked first, second and third respectively. In addition, Inspur Group, Hisense Group, Hikvision, Beijing Xiaomi Mobile Software Co., Ltd., etc. entered the top 10.
