Chinese users have accepted and are more willing to recommend 5G phones, report says

In the second half of 2019, as 5G began commercialization in China and manufacturers released 5G phones, Chinese users have accepted 5G mobile phones and their willingness to recommend is significantly higher than 4G, the satisfaction survey report released by China Telecom shows.

In the second half of 2019, the satisfaction rate of 4G models was 84.7, while 5G models reached 87.2; in terms of net recommendation value (NPS), 5G models were 19.6% higher than 10.5% of 4G models.

According to the data released by the China Academy of Information and Communication Technology, China's 5G mobile phone shipments for the whole year of 2019 reached 13.769 million.

From the perspective of the 5G mobile phones released in the second half of 2019, the price ranges from 1999-8000 yuan, and at the same time, the selectivity has been further improved. Many mainstream terminal manufacturers have released multiple 5G mobile phones.

The report states that, unlike in the first half of 2019, consumers are accepting a reduction in the amount of 5G mobile phone premiums, and their willingness to accept premiums is gradually decreasing.

According to the report, 5G mobile phones have stimulated user demand, and users are more willing to go online and watch videos more. 21.6% of the surveyed users said that the time spent on the Internet via the mobile network has increased significantly, and 18.7% of the surveyed users have slightly increased.

In addition, from the 5G mobile Internet content mentioned by the interviewed users, online chat, online watching live, on-demand videos, online song / download music, mobile shopping, spike, mobile online games have become the top application scenarios.

Interviewed users said that 5G network experience is better and more willing to spend. Specifically, after using 5G, the Internet experience has changed significantly. Watching videos and playing games has become the most mentioned experience. It also includes fast network response, not easy to freeze, and network speed is more stable than 4G. When watching live Smoother and faster internet speed when playing online games.

With a good network experience, users are also more willing to spend more on communication costs. 19.5% of the respondents said that the monthly communication expenditure increased significantly, and 17.7% of the respondents said that it increased slightly.
