Huawei founder and CEO Ren Zhengfei will participate in the Davos Forum and attend the "Technology Arms Race Shapes the Future" theme forum on the morning of January 21, according to Davos's website.
In 2015, Ren Zhengfei also attended the forum and talked about his views on the market economy and his entrepreneurial history.
According to Reuters, US President Trump will also participate in the Davos Forum.
Trump attended the Davos Forum in person and delivered a speech in 2018. But because he faced impeachment charges during the 2019 forum, he did not rush to Switzerland.
Trump daughter Ivanka Trump and son-in-law Jared Kushner will also attend the US delegation in 2020.
Earlier, Huawei Ren Zhengfei said in multiple interviews that:
Because of Trump’s crackdown, we have made a name for ourselves all over the world, and customers around the world have become more motivated to buy our products. We will always be global companies with the ability to compete around the world, so we will not give up globalization.
And on the supply chain side, we firmly embrace globalization. If American companies are willing to sell us parts, we will try to find ways to use them in the system.
If we do not use it, it will not help the world to form a globalized resource system.
