Samsung's new device with the model number SM-F7000 has obtained 3C certification in China and presumably this is the upcoming clamshell foldable phone Galaxy Z Flip.
It does not support 5G technology and is only equipped with a 15w charging head, which may indicate that the device will be equipped with a Snapdragon 855 processor.
According to information released by China National Quality Certification Center, the Samsung device with model number SM-F7000 received 3C certification on January 13.
Although no other specifications of the device have been announced at present, as the overseas version of Samsung's new flip-screen folding machine is SM-F700F, it can be confirmed that the SM-F7000 that has obtained 3C certification this time will be the Chinese version of the device.
Earlier Korean media reported that the display of Samsung clamshell foldable phone is about 6.7 inches, but considering the volume occupied by the hinge, the installation space for internal components is very limited.
This means that it is more difficult to think of installing 5G baseband chips or 5G antennas, so it is planned to launch for LTE 4G networks.
According to Twitter user @Ishan Agarwal, this Samsung clamshell foldable phone will be equipped with the Snapdragon 855 processor instead of the Snapdragon 865 that everyone is looking forward to.
He also said that the device will be equipped with a 10MP front camera, and it is likely to use the same lens module as the Samsung Note 10.
