Huawei has completed the first phase of testing of a 4K live encoder with a built-in 5G module in cooperation with Cogent Technologies, the Chinese tech giant said on Monday.
This test opened up the end-to-end 5G network communication service. It is the world's first integrated test using Huawei MH5000 module equipment, and it is also the world's first industry pre-commercial product supporting NSA/SA dual-mode modules.
Huawei said that in the future, in the 5G + 4K backpack live broadcast mode, except for the encoder and battery, the hardware equipment in the backpack will not see the CPE or mobile phone. The backpack will become lighter and lighter, and the battery life will be further enhanced.
This 4K live encoder with integrated NSA /SA dual-mode 5G module has two built-in Huawei MH5000 modules.
It uses the mode of dynamic traffic distribution to upload a 4K video stream at 40Mbps to a cloud video server through a 5G network, and then distribute it to the relevant video processing equipment.
At the same time, the cloud video server also has an SLA monitoring function, which dynamically and dynamically calculates the network KPIs, business KPIs of the two wireless links, and high-quality backhaul network capacity security zone satisfaction and other information.
