At present, the 16 team members are training in the Hainan Physical Education Institute to prepare for the five provincial and international competitions to participate this year.
Li Qinxu, chairman of the Hainan Provincial E-sports Association, said that the establishment of an e-sports team not only can train high-level backup talents, promote the popularization and development of amateur e-sports and professional e-sports in Hainan, but also build Hainan's e-sports and management professional Become a national leading discipline.
Li said that in the field of domestic college e-sports, Hainan's e-sports performance has always been among the best, with a strong e-sports gene. The development of professional e-sports in Hainan has unique conditions.
The Hainan Provincial E-sports team currently has 16 members, aged 18 to 21, some of whom are students at school, and some of them are e-sports enthusiasts in the province.
Most of the players have won national college championships, national championships, and several international championships. The team hired two full-time coaches to guide the team's technical and tactical training.
