Musk says Tesla's fully autonomous driving feature is coming soon

Tesla has repeatedly promised that it will be able to achieve fully autonomous driving of the car without driver intervention. But this feature is still unavailable. Now, latest information showed that full autonomous driving is not far away from us.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk replied "soon" while responding to a question "When's feature-complete FSD coming out?"

Musk said the "fully autonomous driving" feature is invaluable and will add tens of thousands of dollars in value to Tesla and enable the car to make money for car owners through the Tesla network taxi service.

Tesla has already achieved autonomous driving on the highway, but for Tesla, urban roads are a more challenging driving environment.

However, it remains to be seen whether Tesla will achieve the toughest 5%, after which Tesla still needs to persuade regulators to ensure the safety of driverless cars.

There is still no clear time to market here, but Musk has previously said that Tesla's network services will be launched in 2020, which means it will be launched before the end of this year.
