As of January 7, China Mobile's 5G package customers reached 3.02 million, and 5G phones on its network reached 3.8 million, China Mobile said at a recent media event.
China Mobile said that in 2020, it will continue to promote the "5G +" plan and cultivate new 5G value. The company aims to develop 100 million 5G package users and 50 million 5G wallet customers and add 100 million 5G mobile phone terminals.
China Mobile also said that in 2019, its unit price of traffic decreased by 47%, in-sale packages went down by 49%, corporate broadband fees decreased by 37%, and Internet dedicated line fees was down by 23%.
From 2015 to 2019, the unit price of China Mobile's traffic dropped by 95.8%, benefiting about 530 million people and 4 million SMEs.
