Sogou Maps recently released a mobile map AR real-time driving navigation function, which achieves high-precision navigation based on visual perception and computing capabilities, the company said.
This feature can provide users with real-time scenes outside the window through the mobile phone camera, and can also distinguish real-time driving objects such as lanes, cars, people, and traffic signs in real-time.
It can also be compared and corrected with the map model, and the navigation information can be marked in the real scene through 3D reconstruction and overlay rendering.
The AR real-time navigation function can also perform real-time distance calculation, and issue a warning to the owner when the user's distance is too close.
At the Google I/O conference in 2018, Google Maps unveiled AR navigation feature. In February 2019, the Google Maps AR navigation feature was released in beta.
