Samsung DeX helps users connect their smartphones to laptops for a desktop-like experience. Previously, DeX was only available for some Samsung Galaxy smartphones, but the company is gradually introducing this feature for more phones, with the latest members being Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy Note 9.
Those running Android 10 on their Samsung S 9 or Note 9 smartphones can now use the DeX feature. This means you can now use all your favorite Android apps and games on a larger screen.
It is worth noting that Samsung DeX does not require you to carry additional peripherals such as a keyboard, mouse, etc. Just plug the phone into a laptop to use the touchpad.
Samsung DeX is a great alternative to emulator applications such as BlueStacks, which can produce almost the same results.
If you want to connect the Galaxy Note9 or Galaxy S9 or any supported Galaxy smartphone to your laptop, you must install the Samsung DeX application on your laptop.
The Samsung DeX companion application currently supports Windows 7, Windows 10, and macOS versions higher than 10.13.
