OnePlus announced on January 3 that the first concept phone OnePlus Concept One will be released during CES which will adopt a "latent hidden rear camera" design and hide the rear camera through electro chromic technology.
OnePlus Concept One's rear-facing lens uses electro chromic materials to "hide" the entire rear camera module of the phone under the glass rear case of the phone.
Only when the user is using the rear camera, the glass on the rear camera will become transparent and let it be displayed.
When the user does not need to use the back camera, the black glass lens is integrated with the surrounding glass, which makes people hardly notice the existence of the lens, as if the phone does not have a back camera.
With the development of smart phone photography functions and the emergence of multi-cam solutions, the balance between multi-camera arrangement and aesthetics has become a design problem.
OnePlus Concept One will officially debut on January 7, Las Vegas time.
