Samsung said on Friday that it has sold a total of 6.7 million 5G phones in 2019, including the Galaxy S10 5G and Galaxy Note 10 Plus 5G phones.
As of November 2019, Samsung accounted for 53.9% of the global 5G smartphone market and provided consumers with five Galaxy 5G devices worldwide, including the Galaxy S10 5G, Note10 5G and Note10 + 5G, and the recently launched Galaxy A90 5G and Galaxy Fold 5G, the company said.

At IFA 2019, Samsung sold only 2 million 5G devices. At that time, Samsung estimated that by the end of 2019, the total sales of 5G equipment will be only 4 million units.
In addition, Samsung said that the Galaxy Tab S6 5G will be available in South Korea in the first quarter of 2020, and it will be the world's first 5G tablet.
Samsung said that in 2019, 5G smartphones will account for 1% of global smartphone sales. 2020 will be a breakthrough year. 5G smartphones will grow by 1687% and will account for 18% of global smartphone sales.
