TCL to release next-generation Mini-LED display technology on Jan 6-CnTechPost

TCL will announce the next generation of Mini-LED technology at the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) on January 6, 2020.

Founded in 1993, TCL is a global leader in the television industry and consumer electronics. Earlier this year, the company introduced the world's first Mini-LED backlit TV to the North American and European markets.

With quantum contrast technology, the company has set a new standard for TV image quality. However, the company will raise this standard again and it will announce the next generation of Mini-LEDs at a CES press conference on January 6, 2020.

Kevin Wang, CEO and CEO of TCL, said: "TCL is pleased to participate in the largest exhibition in the technology industry and to share our latest Mini-LED development and our focus on artificial intelligence (AI) Industry vision for the connected age.โ€

He also said, "TCL is committed to providing a wider range of products to meet consumer needs and provide them with a better and more personalized experience."

TFT-LCD, AMOLED, and new display technologies, including flexible displays, are based on semiconductor technology and can be collectively referred to as semiconductor displays. A semiconductor display can be defined as a collective term for a display technology that independently controls each smallest display unit through a semiconductor device.
