China Unicom and Guoxin Micro launched 5G super SIM card products in Guangzhou on December 23, with the storage capacity of 32 GB and 64 GB priced at 99 yuan and 199 yuan, respectively.

China Unicom also launched the "Super SIM Card Upgrade" program in Guangzhou. Users who recharge 120 yuan can upgrade to a 32GB 5G super SIM card. Users who recharge for 240 yuan can get 64GB 5G Super SIM Card.

There are three types of operations common in mobile phones in the current market, namely "dual nano card slot", "dual nano + memory card slot" and "single nano + nano / storage composite card slot". The 5G super SIM card can be adapted to "single nano + nano / storage composite card slot".

Therefore, 5G super SIM cards currently support limited terminals, and some flagships with dual nano card slots do not support them for the time being.

The Super SIM card has a high-speed interface and adds SIM contacts to the memory card form. It is a new type of SIM card that supports both communication functions and large-capacity storage functions.

A 128GB super SIM card is 1,048,576 times larger than the current mainstream 128KB SIM card. It can hold 80 movies, 11,000 songs, 28,000 pictures, a data read speed of 90MB / s, and a write speed of 60MB / s.

In addition, the Super SIM card has launched a mobile app with the same name. Users' contacts, photos, applications and other data can be backed up / restored with one-click operation to achieve cross-brand mobile phone migration.
