Madhav Sheth, CEO of Realme India, said that Realme's 108MP main camera phone is in the works, according to 91mobiles.
Recently, Realme launched the Realme X2 mobile phone in India. The company also announced that it has sold 15 million mobile phones since it began operating in the Indian market in May 2018. The shipment of Realme phones in the third quarter of 2019 ranked fourth in the Indian market.
91mobiles reported that in conversation with Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth, Madhav Sheth also confirmed that Realme has been developing a phone with a 108MP main camera. However, no further details have been disclosed.
In addition, Madhav Sheth said that Realme will expand its offline business in 2020 and plans to have 30,000 to 35,000 retail stores in the Indian market by the end of December 2020. Currently, Realme has approximately 10,000 retail stores.
He also said that Realme is developing some IoT products, some of which will be officially launched in early 2020.
He said that Realme will not be a mobile phone brand, it will become a technology lifestyle brand. Our philosophy is simple, we will launch IoT products.
Previously, Realme India officially released posters suggesting that Realme will launch products such as smart bracelets and smart watches. Detailed information has yet to be officially announced.
