Meituan Dianping, China’s top food delivery app, announced on Saturday that it has launched a voice application platform that relies on its accumulated technical capabilities to help different groups of people obtain conversational services through different devices.
Users only need to wake up the smart hardware and system equipped with Meituan Dianping's voice technology to directly open the Meituan Dianping's service acquisition page.
After that they can further implement operations such as booking tickets, ordering meals, and taxis in a dialogue manner in the online-service super-app. It can be completed through multiple payment methods transaction.
Cai Xunliang, head of the Meituan Dianping Voice Interaction Center, said that Meituan Dianping's voice is compatible with all terminals, making booking services via voice control a reality in the field of life services.
The platform has reached cooperation with Mercedes-Benz, OPPO, Baidu, Xiaomi, Great Wall Motors and many other companies. The Meituan Dianping App will soon launch a voice interactive application, and users can voice a variety of life services directly on the App.
