OnePlus 8 series smartphone specifications exposed-CnTechPost

From January to February, weโ€™ll see the Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2020) and the Mobile World Congress (MWC 2020). But before that, the details of new products from many manufacturers have been exposed on the Internet, such as the OnePlus 8 series, including OnePlus 8 Lite, OnePlus 8 Standard Edition, and OnePlus 8 Pro.

It is said that the OnePlus 8 Lite uses a 6.4-inch OLED punch screen with a resolution of 2400 ร— 1080, supports under-screen fingerprints and a 90Hz refresh rate, supplemented by Corning's fifth-generation Gorilla Glass.

It uses 8GB LPDDR4X RAM+128/256GB UFS 3.0 ROM and MediaTek's newly released Dimensity 1000 series chipset a few weeks ago. It officially claims to compete with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 865 flagship SoC.

According to the news, this machine uses 48MP+16MP+12MP rear three cameras, supplemented by 4000mAh battery+30W fast charge (using USB-C port), and has IP53 protection level.

Depending on the storage space, the estimated retail price of the OnePlus 8 Lite is 2999/3299 RMB ($ 430/472 USD).

OnePlus 8 Standard Edition has higher specifications and offers 8GB RAM+128GB ROM/12GB+256GB ROM options (possibly using a faster LPDDR5 storage), the prices are 3299/3999 RMB (472/573 RMB ),

It is said that the machine uses a 6.44-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 2400 ร— 1080 and a refresh rate of 90Hz. It supports fingerprint recognition under the screen, supplemented by the sixth-generation Corning Gorilla Glass.

As for the processor, the machine uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC that supports 5G. The front camera is 32MP and the rear camera is 60MP+16MP+12MP.

OnePlus 8 Standard Edition is also expected to be equipped with 4000mAh battery+30W fast charge (not support wireless charging), supports NFC, and has IP53 protection level.

The configuration of the flagship OnePlus 8 Pro is similar to that of the OnePlus 8. The screen is 6.7 inches @ 3180 ร— 1440 resolution and supports a higher 120Hz refresh rate.

There is also a front dual camera opening (32MP+3D ToF face recognition), a rear 60MP+16MP+13MP triple camera combination, supporting 10x hybrid zoom (Lite and standard versions only support 5x hybrid zoom).

In terms of battery, OnePlus 8 Pro may use a combination of two 2250 mAh (a total of 4500mAh) and support 50W Super Warp flash charging (unfortunately, wireless charging is still not supported),

In terms of storage, the machine will provide 8+128/8+256/12+512 three-level configuration (LPDDR5 RAM+UFS 3.0 ROM), the price is 4499/4999/5499 RMB ($ 645/716/788 USD).
