ZTE announced the images of its dual-mode 5G flagship Axon 10s Pro on Weibo on December 15.
The device is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 flagship platform, which is the first Snapdragon 865 flagship first announced in a Chinese-made mobile phone. It is also ZTE's most powerful flagship so far.
ZTE has also announced that the Axon 10s Pro will be available early next year.
According to Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 865+ Snapdragon X55 supports all modes of 2G/3G/4G/5G, Sub-6GHz/mmWave, TDD/FDD, NSA/SA, DSS (Dynamic Spectrum Sharing), and carrier aggregation.
More importantly, the Snapdragon 865 image signal processor supports a processing speed of 2 billion pixels per second, so smartphones equipped with this platform will support 30fps/8K or 64fps/4K video shooting in the future. At the same time this flagship processor supports up to 200 million pixel cameras.
In addition, the Snapdragon 865 is equipped with a fifth-generation AI engine, which has twice the computing power of 15 times per second than the previous generation Snapdragon 855. A faster AI engine means more advanced photography and faster real-time translation capabilities for smartphones.
ZTE hopes to be a 5G pioneer and will launch 10 5G smartphones next year, Xu Feng, senior vice president of ZTE and president of ZTE's terminal division, said in Shanghai on December 13.
Xu Feng said that the goal ofย ย ZTE is to lead innovation and return to the mainstream of the market. "We are the first to launch a 5G phone, and we have the ability to go from end to system."
2 In February of this year, ZTE released its first 5G flagship mobile phone Axon 10 Pro on the first day of MWC 2019.
Xu Feng said that next year ZTE will launch 5G mobile phones under 2,000 yuan and 5G mobile phones over 3,000 yuan.
