Mobile phone shipments in China stood at 34.842 million units in November, a year-on-year decrease of 1.5%, the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT) data showed.
Among them 1.469 million were 2G phones, 28.299 million were 4G phones and 5.074 million were 5G phones, according to the CAICT.
From January to November 2019, the total domestic mobile phone market shipment was 358 million units, a year-on-year decrease of 5.4%, of which 14.67 million 2G mobile phones, 58,000 3G mobile phones, 335 million 4G mobile phones, and 8.355 million 5G mobile phones.
In November 2019, 56 new models were launched, a year-on-year increase of 43.6%, of which 21 were 2G mobile phones, 31 were 4G mobile phones, and 4 were 5G mobile phones.
From January to November 2019, 538 new models were launched, a year-on-year decrease of 25.5%, including 131 2G mobile phones, 1 3G mobile phone, 382 4G mobile phones, and 24 5G mobile phones.
In November 2019, the domestic brand mobile phone shipments were 31.385 million units, an increase of 2.7% year-on-year, accounting for 90.1% of the mobile phone shipments in the same period; 47 new models were listed, an increase of 27.0% year-on-year, accounting for the number of new models of mobile phones listed in the same period 83.9%.
From January to November 2019, domestic brand mobile phone shipments were 326 million units, a year-on-year decrease of 3.8%, accounting for 91.0% of mobile phone shipments over the same period; 476 new models were listed, a year-on-year decrease of 27.5%, accounting for new mobile phone listings during the same period. 88.5% of the number of types.
In November 2019, smartphone shipments were 33.367 million, an increase of 0.2% year-on-year, accounting for 95.8% of mobile phone shipments over the same period, of which Android phones accounted for 91.3% of smartphones.
From January to November 2019, smartphone shipments were 343 million units, a year-on-year decrease of 3.8%, accounting for 95.7% of mobile phone shipments over the same period, of which Android phones accounted for 91.4% of smartphones.
In November 2019, 34 new models of smartphones were launched, a year-on-year increase of 6.3%, accounting for 60.7% of the number of new models of mobile phones listed in the same period, of which 31 models supported the Android operating system.
From January to November 2019, 397 new models of smartphones were launched, a year-on-year decrease of 27.9%, accounting for 73.8% of the number of new models launched during the same period, of which 390 phones supported the Android operating system.
