Realme will only release 5G mobile phones next year in the Chinese market, and no longer launch 4G mobile phones, Realme founder and CEO Li Bingzhong announced on Monday.
Li said that Realme has always maintained close and in-depth cooperation with supply chains, operators and Internet companies, and Realme's 5G will cover multiple price ranges.
Li said that in the 5G era Realme will continue to innovate and boldly explore, explore 5G scenarios with industry partners, create new industry ecology, and bring a new 5G experience to global users.
Realme will complete the full price segment 5G model coverage from the entry of one thousand yuan to the high-end flagship, and actively participate in 5G promotion as an "ubiquitous", so that every young person can enjoy the 5G beyond the experience.
Li said that we have stood at the corner of the times and Realme hope that everyone can become a leapfrog participant.
On November 16, Lenovo also said the company is all in 5G in China and future smartphones it plans to roll out will all support the next generation ultra-fast network.
However, this does not necessarily mean Lenovo will immediately stop selling 4G smartphones. The company will not have inventories of 4G phones by the first half of next year, said Chen Jin, general manager of Lenovo China Consumption Department.
Chen said Lenovoโs 4G phone inventories were not high, which allows them to be aggressive on pricing to move on fast.
โLenovo will not roll out new 4G products, but this does not mean we will abandon 4G overnight,โ he said.
