Huawei Game Center has removed all Tencent games, saying that the latter unilaterally made significant changes to the cooperation between the two sides at 17:57 on December 31, 2020, resulting in significant obstacles to continued cooperation.
In the early morning of January 1, Huawei Game Center community released an announcement saying that after its legal affairs prudent assessment, it had to suspend relevant cooperation in accordance with Tencent's unilateral request to remove Tencent games from Huawei's platform.
Huawei did not mention the specific reasons, but only said that Huawei admires the achievements and absolute market position of Tencent games in the industry, and although it does not agree but also understands the request made by Tencent based on this.
The announcement also said that it is hoped that the two sides will have the opportunity to work together again in the future to provide quality game content services for Huawei users.
As of press time, the Huawei application market and Huawei game center can no longer show Tencent-related games in search results.
