Apple opened pre-orders for the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro on Friday at 8 p.m. across various channels in China, but the Apple website briefly experienced inaccessibility issues due to the overwhelming number of visitors.
About 1.5 hours after pre-orders began, information on Apple's Chinese website showed that some iPhone 12 models are still available for shipping as previously planned on October 23, while iPhone 12 Pro shipments have been scheduled to begin 1 week later than the iPhone 12.
When pre-orders for the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro initially began, channels such as Apple's website and Apple Store app were all jammed due to the overwhelming number of visitors, demonstrating the popularity of the new iPhones among Chinese users.

Access to these channels has now returned to normal, but users who pre-order the iPhone 12 Pro now will have to wait longer than if they pre-ordered the iPhone 12.
