Gaode Map, one of China's most popular map app, has recently released a new v10.65 version, bringing AR driving navigation for iPhone, supporting iPhone 8 Plus and above.
After updating Gaode Map to the latest version, users can experience AR real-world navigation with just a phone and a horizontal bracket.
In addition to going live on mobile, Gaode Map pioneered in-car AR navigation in 2018 and has landed applications in many scenarios such as rear-view mirrors, smart car boxes, front-loading OEMs, rear-loading vehicle products, and driving recorders.
Gaode Map has also recently been planning to link the various ends of the mobile phone, the driving recorder, the car's central control platform, Apple CarPlay, and even the HUD head-up display to better coordinate real-time shooting, AR screen display, and computing platforms.
