The CoolStar team has recently released the second public beta version of the Odyssey jailbreak tool.
It was previously reported that the Unc0ver team filed a DMCA notice with the CoolStar team, demanding that the latter's GitHub repository be taken down.
The final decision has yet to be announced, but there's a new jailbreak tool for regular users.
The jailbreak tool is available for iOS 13~13.5.x and is compatible with all devices running Apple's A8~A13 processors, and it supports multiple devices including the iPad Pro.
The purpose of releasing the jailbreak to the public is to provide a better user experience than the Unc0ver and Checkra1n jailbreakers.
It should be noted that if you plan to use the Odyssey jailbreak tool to jailbreak your iPad, you should first use the Recover rootFS feature in Odyssey before you move to it.
Another major aspect you should be aware of is that the Odyssey Jailbreak Tool comes with the Sileo package manager by default. Sileo has recently received a major update, so it can be faster than previous versions.
Another difference from Unc0ver or Checkra1n is that the Odyssey jailbreak tool is compiled entirely in the Swift language, which makes it faster and more user-friendly.
