A Tesla Model 3 was said to have suddenly and automatically accelerated to 127km/h in the process of driving in Jiangxi and the car owner cannot control the speed as there is also a brake failure, leading to a collision and fire.

The photos from the scene showed that the Tesla has apparently had a severe front impact, the fire is located inside the vehicle, and there are no signs of a fire in the front luggage compartment.

The scene was ablaze with fire and smoke, and the entire vehicle was severely scrapped.

Today, Tesla gave a response to the incident: "Tesla has dealt with the matter in the first time, and the government has also been involved in the investigation.

Similar operations in Tesla's cars are data logged, and according to Tesla's vehicle design principles, the brakes fail the vehicle accelerates itself very unlikely. It is recommended to wait for the government department's conclusion based on vehicle data before making a judgment."

In addition, a set of images circulating online shows the son of the owner said his father suffered a cinematic accident in which the vehicle automatically accelerated, brakes failed, and finally rolled over and caught fire and exploded.

He claims his father has been in hospital for surgery and is confined to the hospital, unable to get out of bed for the time being.
