For the commercial aerospace field, Lei Jun said in response to a question from NetEase, the essence of commercial aerospace is to move from scientific research to an industrial model.
Lei Jun believes that in the aerospace field, previously relied mainly on the national team, private enterprises have just emerged, is still a cooperative role.
Lei Jun told NetEase that China is a spacefaring nation, he himself is a space enthusiast, but currently there is no commercial space law in the country; Lei Jun said last year he was pushing commercial space legislation.
Lei Jun believes that satellite Internet is the most important application of commercial spaceflight, for example, 5G signal can be covered by satellite Internet, this way is cheaper.
